The loss of a sole client or single large customer can be devastating for any small enterprise. This was the crisis that confronted Kroon Occupational Health Services (KOHS) when its largest client, a diamond mine in the Kroonstad area of Free State province, closed down. Faced with the sudden loss of 95% of their income, founder Fires Jansen van Vuuren had to find new clients – and quickly too.
The company had the following challenge:
Without a recognised brand and with no marketing tools at his disposal, van Vuuren turned to Seda for help.
Solution by Seda
Seda responded by appointing professionals to supply KOHS with a new logo and brand identity, a polished corporate profile and website, vehicle and building signage, a PowerPoint presentation, business cards and other marketing tools.
The marketing drive was so successful that not only has the value of the lost contract been recouped, the business has grown and now requires two to six more employees to cope with the workload.
From the Desk of KOHS Team
“This wouldn't have been possible without the high-quality marketing tools I received from Seda. It's sad that more companies don't make use of Seda's services,” concludes Jansen van Vuuren.
There is also a happy ending, the local diamond mine has resumed operations - and has once again hired the services of KOHS.
